JOINT AGENCY MEDIA RELEASE – Spill incident at entrance to Caroni Swamp

An Incident Management Team (IMT) was assembled on August 11, 2022, for a coordinated and joint agencies effort comprising the Environmental Management Authority (EMA), Forestry Division of the Ministry of Agriculture, Lands and Fisheries (MoALF/FD), Office of Disaster Preparedness and Management (ODPM) and the Institute of Marine Affairs (IMA) with additional support by the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS).
